ADVANCED PROJECT
July 21,22,23, and July 27-31, 2020
9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Advanced Project class is intended for older students who are eager to design and execute their own individual projects. Working with an instructor, they will complete all steps of the process from planning their project, to winding a warp, threading the loom, weaving and finishing.
Use the first three days to plan, wind your warp, and thread your loom. The next week you'll come back to weave--and finish!--your project!
During the 8-day session, the extra time will allow students to create a project on a larger scale or with a more intricate weave structure; or a poncho, boundweave wall hanging, messenger bag, or other project they may have in mind!
Space is very limited for each of the options. If you don't get a spot right away, please sign your child up for the waitlist as sometimes spaces become available.
Please note: Tuition will be refunded only if the class is canceled by the Weaving Center, or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
